THI-2 SUPf4ARY OF MEETING ON OPEN ISSUES Representatives of the applicant and his contractors met with mebers of the staff en October 6,1976 to discuss open issues in the THI-2 review. These included:
1.
Reactor cavity pressure response and shield design.
The applicant presented a new proposed design to replace the previously considered shadow shield.
The design was described and the staff raised various questions about the required analysis.
2.
Containment spray. The applicant described changes in progress in the design of the chsaical addition system and noted probicas in the sodita thiosulphata portion.
