The NRC has scheduled regional meetings to discuss the upgraded guard qualification and training requirements published in the Federal Register on August 23, 1978 and the guidance on this requirement contained in NUREG 0219 as well as the contingency planning requirements published in the Federal Register on March 23, 1978.

An agenda, the dates and locations of the meetings, and a registration form are enclosed.
