Rosztoc y, Chief, Analysis Branch, Division of Syste=s Safety MASS AND ENERGI RETJ.ASE MODEL MR MAIN STEAM LINE BREAK - THREE MILE ISI.1ND, UNIT NO. 2 The applicant for Three Mile Island, Unic No. 2 subnitted the mass and energy release data for the MSL3 accident in response to Question 042.7 (Amendment 37), in Supplement 3 of the FSAR.
Although the applicant did not discuss the codel used to deter =ine the mass and energy release data for a steam line break accident, moisture carryover was assu:med. The model we previously found acceptable assu=ed dry stean blowdown.
We therefore request that the Analysis Branch conduct a review of the mass and energy release model for the main steam line break accident and advise the Contain-ent Systems Branch of the acceptability of them. ass and energy release data.
