AMENDMENT AND CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE RENEWAL REQUESTS FOR THE MODEL NO. HI-STAR 180D TRANSPORT PACKAGE
Dear Mr. Hinojosa:
By letter dated April 25, 2019, (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML19122A245), you submitted an application for a revision of the Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for the Model No. HI-STAR 180D package and also requested a renewal of Certificate No. 9367, in accordance with the provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 71.38(b). The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff performed an acceptance review of your amendment request and determined it contains sufficient technical information in scope and depth to allow the staff to complete a detailed technical review.
We have established a schedule for the review and estimated that the staff may need approximately 850 hours0.00984 days <br />0.236 hours <br />0.00141 weeks <br />3.23425e-4 months <br /> to complete its review. The schedule allows for the staff to issue a request for additional information (RAI) in August 2019. If your RAI responses are satisfactory, and based on the staffs evaluation, the CoC may be issued in December 2019.
