USAR 01/13/99 APPENDIX D QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM FOR OPERATION POLICY DOCUMENT This Appendix formerly contained the NPPD Cooper Nuclear Station Quality Assurance Program for Operation Policy Document. Although a part of the USAR, the Policy Document contents have been removed from this Appendix and are currently maintained, revised, and distributed under separate cover by the Quality Assurance Division.

The CNS Quality Assurance Program for Operations, Revision 8, dated August 20, 1979, was accepted by the NRC as Amendment 39 (Revised) to the FSAR.

The Program Policy Document, with changes incorporated, was subsequently reissued as Appendix D, Revision 0, to the Updated Safety Analysis Report (USAR). Pursuant to the requirements of 10CFR50.54(a) the new QA Policy Document, Revision 0, was accepted by the NRC as documented in NRC letter, G. L. Madsen to J. M. Pilant dated June 17, 1983.

Future changes to QA Program Policy Document will be processed in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR50.54(a)(3).
