5.1.3.1.b.iv 5.1.3.2.b.iv Table 3 Table 4 Changes and Justifications Updated As described in the response to Shielding RAI 6-18, the definition for 8LEU FUEL has been revised for clarification.
As described in the response to Materials RAI 8-1, the definition for CONTROL COMPONENTS has been modified..
The sentence "FAILED FUEL shall be stored in a failed fuel canister" was added for clarification and consistency with the definition of FAILED FUEL in Section 1.1.
As described in the response to Criticality RAI 7-5, the COMPLETION TIME associated with REQUIRED ACTION A.2.2 was changed from "24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br />" to "Immediately".
As described in the response to Shielding RAI 6-7, the methodology to be used to qualify fuel considered for loading is added.
As described in Enclosure 4 Item 8.2, the dose rate limits were split into the two subsections, the existing EOS-HSM and the addition of the HSM-MX. For item iii within each subsection the term "average" was added for clarification with respect to the location stated.
As described in the response to Thermal RAI 4-2, Section 5.1.3.1.b.iv was revised to add the same concrete accident temperature limit of 500 °F with associated time limits based on the permissible duration for air vent blockage of 40 hours4.62963e-4 days <br />0.0111 hours <br />6.613757e-5 weeks <br />1.522e-5 months <br /> (EOS-HSM).
