RO Docket Nos.:
50-338 50-339 License Nos.: NPF-4/7 NOTIFICATION OF INTERIM CYBER SECURITY MILESTONE 1-7 CORRECTIVE ACTION COMPLETION Virginia Electric and Power Company (the Licensee) received a Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRG)
Inspection Report No.
05000338/2014404 and 05000339/2014404, dated March 13, 2014. This report documented the results of the NRG Temporary Instruction 2201/004, "Inspection of Implementation of Interim Cyber Security Milestones 1-7" inspection for North Anna Power Station.
The inspection report identified findings for which the NRG issued enforcement discretion due to "good-faith" attempts to interpret and implement Interim Cyber Security Milestones 1-7 commitments.
Before the enforcement discretion was considered or granted, the Licensee must have accepted the finding, placed the finding into their Corrective Action Program (CAP), and taken appropriate corrective action to restore compliance in a timely manner.
The NRG required that upon completion of all corrective actions, the Licensee provide written notification to the NRC's Regional office as to the method and date of closure for the identified issues. The written notification for North Anna Power Station is provided in the attachment to this letter.
If you have any questions, please contact Michael Whitlock at 804-273-3123.
Sincerely,
