TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY REQUEST RELATED TO WATTS BAR UNRESOLVED ITEM The NRC received your letter dated November 7, 2018, in which you requested that Unresolved Item (URI) 05000390,05000391/2018012-01 remain open until Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has had additional opportunity to discuss the differing interpretations of the two Confirmatory Orders and resolution path to align the requirements at the planned December 11 public meeting.
After careful consideration of your request and review of the information we have gained through inspection as it pertains to your request, we do not plan to delay our process with respect to the issues identified. Therefore, your request is not approved. After completing internal reviews of the findings, we plan to issue an inspection report documenting the inspection and results.
This letter, its enclosure, and your response (if any) will be made available for public inspection and copying at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html and at the NRC Public Document Room in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, Public Inspections, Exemptions, Requests for Withholding.
