SUMMARY

OF THE JUNE 26, 2018 AND JULY 25, 2018 CLOSED TELECONFERENCE WITH NUSCALE POWER, LLC REGARDING DESIGN CERTIFICATION APPLICATION SECTION 3.9.2, DYNAMIC TESTING AND ANALYSIS OF SYSTEMS, COMPONENTS, AND EQUIPMENT The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a closed teleconference on June 26, 2018 and July 25, 2018, to discuss Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) Tier 2, Chapter 3, Design of Structures, Systems, Components and Equipment, Section 3.9.2, Dynamic Testing and Analysis of Systems, Components, and Equipment, of the NuScale Power, LLC (NuScale)

Design Certification Application. This was a closed call due to proprietary information discussions The public meeting notice can be found in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management Systems (ADAMS) under Accession Nos. ML18176A310 and ML18201A146, respectively. This meeting notice was also posted on the NRC public Website.

S. Lee 2 Summary:

The purpose of this meetings was to discuss the progress on developing request for additional information (RAI) responses submitted by NRC staff on Section 3.9.2 regarding the Comprehensive Vibration Assessment Program the RAI Nos. submitted are 8884 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17231A006), 9316 (ADAMS Accession No. ML18072A149) and 9408 (ADAMS Accession No. ML18107A802). NuScale discussed the progress on developing the RAI responses.
