Dear Sir or Madam:
In the referenced letter, Entergy Operations, Inc (Entergy) submitted a license amendment request (LAR) for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) review and approval of to relocate the Reactor Core Isolation Cooling (RCIC) Injection Point from the Reactor Vessel Head Spray Nozzle to the 'A' Feedwater Line via the "A" Residual Heat Removal (RHR)
Shutdown Cooling Return Line.
As part of the referenced LAR, Entergy requested the approval of "any future document changes determined by the licensee to be necessary, as a result of the relocation of the RCIC injection point from the reactor vessel head spray nozzle to the 'A' Feedwater line via the 'A' RHR shutdown cooling return line." Entergy is requesting that this specific request in the referenced LAR be withdrawn from the submittal.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91 (b)(1), Entergy is notifying the State of Louisiana and the State of Texas by transmitting a copy of this letter to the designated State Official.
