Beaver Valley 1 Op Test Comments Scenario 1 - Clarify 3rd CT to be bounded by the completion of the Attachment 1-K vs the end of the scenario.
Scenario 2 Event 3 - Create a separate "role play" for TBO standing by at diesel driven air compressor.
Scenario 2 - Modify CT wording to emphasize isolating feedwater flow only because the atmospheric steam dump valve is failed open and won't close.
Scenario 3 Event 4 - Added NOTE to Event 4 describing that the manipulated valve is a Throttle valve and that the Control Switch must be held in the CLOSED position until the valve has fully closed.
Sim JPM 1 - Add "SM limits rod pulls to 5 steps at a time" to the initiating cue.
Made JPM step 3 a Critical Step to turn the HV Manual ON/OFF switches to NORMAL position.
Sim JPM 2 - Add note, if needed due to slow stroking MOV, to cue applicant about EO reports that the valve is moving closed.
Sim JPM 4 - Step 5, A-5/A-6 green light lit/ red light not lit vs A-1/A-2.
Sim JPM 5 - Step 4.3 eliminate identification of Safeguards Pit Isolation Damper out of alignment.
Sim JPM 7 - Step 1.2 & 5.1 are not critical.
Corrected Selector Switch TYPO on JPM Step 10, 2N45 VS 1 N45.
Sim JPM 8 - Add initial plant conditions (25% power) to initial conditions.
Added Evaluator NOTE at the completion of JPM Step 5.6 to inform Booth operator to insert malfunction.
In-plant JPM 1 - Step 1.2 is not critical. Match the tolerances in the task standard and JPM standard. (Correct task standard to match step 3.6.c answer, both should say+/- 0.5%.)
Admin SRO & RO A.1.1 - Fix numbers in the key to provide a wider acceptance range. Dealing with thousandths. Change Initial Condition value to "RCS Temp" instead of "Hot Leg Temp". Fix procedure worksheet to place the Parentheses' () in the proper location to properly calculate answer, they will need to issue CR for procedure change after the exam is given.
Adm in SRO A.3 - Revise Initial Conditions to start at step C.6 of the procedure, fixed the marked-up procedure as well (removed signoffs).
Added new step 1 to review the RWDA-L Radiation Monitor setpoint calculations. Added new step 2 to verify that the Source Check has been completed. Renumbered the JPM steps Admin SRO A.4-Revise Initial Conditions statements to start with "At 1000" and "At 1015.
Revise Initiating Cue to change "each event" to "specific events".
Revise Initiating Cue wording to ask for what is the latest time....
Remove step to Aux Feed Water report ( step 1.4 ).
Deleted step 4 to report AFW actuation in 8 hours9.259259e-5 days <br />0.00222 hours <br />1.322751e-5 weeks <br />3.044e-6 months <br /> since the initial notifications of the Reactor Trip and Safety Injection would include that information. Renumbered steps.
Add Examiner Note that candidate may identify other reportable items, such as AFW and Containment Isolation, however they are not required for the JPM.
