Dear Mr. DelaBarre:

The license presently authorizes the export of up to 2,800 kilograms of deuterium gas to the Republic of Korea and Taiwan for non-nuclear end use in semiconductor devices.

The purpose of the amendment is to: 1) change the licensee point of contact; 2) change the address for Matheson Tri-Gas lnc.'s Tennessee location; 3) add the applicant's Newark, California plant to the list of suppliers and/or other parties; 4) change the address of Taiyo Nippon Sanso Taiwan Inc.; and 5) extend the date of expiration from December 31, 2018, to December 31, 2020.

There are no changes to the terms and conditions of the existing license being requested.

Therefore, our office is processing this as a minor amendment, and if no comments are received from the public within the 30-day comment period, and it is determined that applicable legal requirements are satisfied, the NRC will issue the license.
