The Company herewith transmits three (3) originals and 10 copies of need-for-power information for the proposed Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant Units 1, 2, 3, and 4.

This material is submitted to respond to Mr. Charles Barth's letter of January 28, 1975.

The information that has been included in this submittal is based on current forecasts and economic conditions.

Recent history has shown that these conditions may be expected to continue to undergo significant change.

Additional information will be submitted to the NRC as neccessary immediately prior to the resumption of the ASLB Public Hearing.

Copies of this submittal have been served on Mr. Waverly F.

Akins, Chairman, Board of County Commissioners of Wake County, North

Carolina, and Mr. June
