This is in reference to my letter of September 2, 1977, pertaining to Carolina Power and Light Company's (CP&L) Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant, to be located in southwest Wake County.
Division ot Archives onci History t.any E. Tise. Director Subsequent to my letter of September 2, 1977, we have met with personnel of CP&L and have received information from them that satisfies concerns expressed in my earlier letter.
CP&L has had archeological and historical studies undertaken and has provided us recent copies of that work.
Any additional information forth-coming from these studies will also be provided us.
Accordingly, please accept this letter as satisfying my earlier concerns and disregard the information requested in our September 2, 1977, letter.
