50-250 and 50-251 Fission Gas Releases Your letter of November 24, 1976, requested that Florida Power

& Light Company (FPL) evaluate the effects of in-creased. fission gas releases on the safety analysis for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4.

Westinghouse Electric Corpor-ation has developed a generic position concerning high burnup fission gas release which we believe adequately responds to your request.

Therefore, please refer to Westinghouse letter NS-CE-1302 of December 2, 1976, from C. Eicheldinger to Dr.

D. F.

Ross, Jr.
