U.S. Department of Homeland Security Region III One Independence Mall, 6th Floor 615 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, PA 19106-4404 FEMA Enclosed is the final After Action Report/Improvement Plan for the Salem/Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Stations Radiological Emergency Preparedness Plume Exercise that was held on May 22, 2018. This report includes the Out-of-Sequence demonstrations that were conducted on May 11, May 23, and May 24, 2018.

I There were no Level 1 Findings identified during the exercise.' There was one Level 2 Finding identified, which was corrected on June 5, 2018. In addition, there were no Planning Issues identified.

Based on the results of the exercise and a review of the off site radiological emergency response plans and procedures submitted, FEMA Region III has determined they are adequate (meet the planning and preparedness standards ofNUREG-0654/FEMA-REP-1, Revision 1, November 1980, as referenced in 44 CFR 350.5) and there is reasonable assurance they can be implemented, as demonstrated during this exercise.
