Dear Mr. Keppler:
This is to confirm our telephone report to NRC RO: III Inspector, Mr. K. R. Baker, at 1530 hours0.0177 days <br />0.425 hours <br />0.00253 weeks <br />5.82165e-4 months <br /> on April 27, 1977.
At that time, we reported the possible loss of an unirradiated non-radioactive incore, moveable detector.
This possible loss was
, discovered as a result of-an internal trace investigation.
This report was made in compliance with 10 CFR 70.52 and PMP 4040.SNM.001, Special Nuclear Material Accountability Manual for the Donald C.
Cook Nuclear Plant.
The investigation is continuing and a written report of the results of the investigation will be submitted by May 11, 1977 in compliance with 10 CFR 73.71.
