Dear Mr. Engleken:

In reference to your IGE Bulletin, 77-01, APS is presently in the process of procuring electrical, equipment for the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station.

The Palo Verde design utilizes Agastat time delay relays rather than the ITE relays described.

To insure that no ITE relays of the type described are used, all successful and potential suppliers of relays have been notified not to use these relays in their equipment.

We feel this is adequate to prevent problems with ITE pneumatic time delay relays.

Very truly yours, K>.F~Rn~
