Since August 23, 19'73, the Arizona Public Service Company, and four other southwestern utilitie's have been contractually committed to build three nuclear steam supply systems near Phoenix, Arizona.
The systems, known collectively as ANPP, are planned to become operational in 1981, 1982 and 1984.
Would you please indicate to us:
(1) the nature of the approvals, including construction permits, which ANPP must obtain from your agency and the statutory and regulatory authority for your issuance of such approvals; (2) the nature of any such approvals for which ANPP has

already made application to your agency; (3) the nature of any such approvals which your agency has already granted; and (4) the anticipated dates by which further approvals may be expected.
