These do not cover coaxial and communications cable qualifica-tion since these plans have not yet been received.

Anaconda/Franklin Institute Technical Re-port F-C4836-2, "Qualifi-cation Tests of Flame-Guard FR-EP Instrumentation and Control Class IE Electric Cables in a Simulated Steam-Line-Break and Loss-of Cool-ant Accident Environment" dated January, 1978.
These plans have presently been throughtwo iterations of our review, and we conclude that they represent the present state-of-the-art, especially in the area of Arrhenius aging.
You will note that these plans have all, in fact, already been implemented, the qualification tests performed, and the test reports included, thus making the plans complete qualification documents.
Since we will begin the pulling of these cables within three months, it is essential that we receive prompt NRC indication of the acceptability of these reports.
Ne would appreciate your response by November 1, 1978.
