In accordance with this ITAAC, physical separation for circuits thatdo notmeetthe separation distance criteria of ITAAC 3.3.00.07d.ll.a may be provided byenclosed racewaysor barriers. Forcircuits requiring enclosed racewaysor barriers, the subject ITAAC requiresInspections ofthe raceways that route Class 1E cables and raceways that route non-Class 1E cables Inside containment to confirmthat circuits are run Inenclosed raceways or have barriers provided. The Class 1E cables and racewaysand non-Class1 E cables Inside containment are designed to be appropriately separated In accordancewith APP-GW-E1-001 (Reference 1). Installation specifications provided tothe constructor Identify the separation criteria, consistent with the ITAAC commitment.

Thecompleted Inspection records documentthe satisfactory separation between raceways that routeClass 1E cables ofdifferent divisions, and between raceways that routeClass 1E cables and raceways that route non-Class 1E cables.

Exceptions to the subject ITAAC are not included within the scope of this ITAAC and are addressed withinthe scope of ITAAC 3.3.00.07d.iv.a (Enclosure 3) or ITAAC 3.3.00.07d.v.a (Enclosure 4).
The Cable Separation Reports (References 3 and 4) are availablefor NRC inspectionas part of the Unit 3 and Unit 4 ITAAC 3.3.00.07d.iii.a Completion Packages (References 5 and 6, respectively).
