At the January 26, 2018, public meeting (closed) of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) Committee to Review Generic Requirements, the NRC staff committed to providing the current draft of proposed Revision 1 to Regulatory Guide (RG) 5.69, Guidance for the Application of the Radiological Sabotage Design-Basis Threat in the Design, Development, and Implementation of a Physical Security Program that meets Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 73.55 Requirements.
Enclosed with this letter is the current draft of proposed Revision 1 to RG 5.69. NRC staff intends to enter formal concurrence with this document on August 1, 2018. Please notify me, or a member of my staff as soon as possible and before that date if you have any significant concerns.
