In the referenced letter, NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC (NextEra) submitted a license amendment request to modify the licensing basis by the addition of a license condition to allow for implementation of the provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 50.69, "Risk-Informed Categorization and Treatment of Structures, Systems, and Components (SSCs) for Nuclear Power Plants." Based on business considerations, NextEra is withdrawing the license amendment request.
