CONFIRMATION OF MEETING ARRANGEMENTS This confirms the telephone conversation between Mr. R.
F. Saunders of your staff and Mr. P. E.. Fredrickson of my staff on $_eptember 5, 1989, concerning a management meeting to be held at the Surry Nuclear Information Center site on October 4, 1989.
The time of the meeting was established as 10:00 a.m.(EST).
This meeting will be open to the public.
We requested this meeting to review the results of our Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance (SALP) Program for your Surry facility.
This program involves an appraisal of your regulatory performance by selected NRC managers.
Your *regulatory performance was evaluated for the period May 1, 1988, through June 30, 1989.
The report wi 11 be forwarded to you approximately one week prior to our meeting, Should you have any questions regarding these arrangements, we will be pleased to discuss them.
