ACCEPTANCE OF CHANGE TO THE OPERATIONAL QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM (VEP-1-5A) FOR SURRY UNITS 1 AND 2 AND NORTH ANNA UNITS 1 AND 2 Your letter dated June 21, *1939 (89-257) transmitted VEP 1 5A (Update-4/89) in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(a).
This report provides the current quality assurance program description for Surry and North Anna.

Description:
VEP 1-5A 4/89 Updated This revievJ including a teleconference conducted between NRC and VEPCO personnel on July 12, 1989 and subsequent additional information transmitted in your letter dated July 28, 1989 (89-257A), indicates the VEP 1-SA (Update-4/89) continues to satisfy 10 CFR-50, Appendix B requirements and is therefore acceptable.
