License Nos.89-353 50-280 50-281 50-338 50-339 DPR-32 DPR-37 NPF-4 NPF-7 Generic Letter 89-06: Task Action Plan Item I.D.2 - Safety Parameter Display System issued on April 12, 1989 requested that licensees provide an implementation status of their Safety Parameter Display Systems (SPDS). This is to be accomplished by submitting to the NRC a comprehensive checklist and photographs of the licensee's SPDS. This status is to be provided to the NRC ninety (90) days from the date of the generic letter (i.e. July 11, 1989).
However, we did not receive Generic Letter 89-06 until May 10, 1989 which reduced the amount of time available to respond by about one third. For this reason, we intend to adjust the submittal date for our status reports accordingly until August 8, 1989. This will allow us sufficient time as originally intended by the generic letter to provide the detailed status of our SPDS.
The completion date identified in this letter has been discussed with Mr. B. C. Buckley and Mr. L. B. Engle of your staff. Should you have any questions concerning this request please contact us.
