PC# 94-3824 SURRY POWER STATION UNDERGROUND OIL RELEASE SITE CHARACTERIZATION REPORT
Dear Mr. Anderson:
Enclosed is the Site Characterization Report for the underground oil release at Surry Power Station, PC# 94-3824.
The report was initially due July 8 1994; however, we requested and received an extension until November 7, 1994.
The report includes the SCR checklist.
In keeping with the risk based approach for determination of remedial action, Virginia Power believes that there is adequate evidence to demonstrate that natural in-situ passive degredation is the appropriate corrective action for the site.
Therefore, we request the DEQ to render a Case Closed decision for PC# 94-3824.
