SUMMARY
REPORT FOR THE 1997 REFUELING OUTAGE Serial No.97-311 NLOS/GDM RO Docket No. 50-280 License No. DPR-32 As set.forth in the provisions of ASME Section XI, paragraph IWA-6230, enclosed is the lnservice Inspection Report for Surry Power Station Unit 1 for the 1997 refueling outage. This report provides a summary of the examinations performed during the outage for the third inservice inspection interval.
In accordance with IWA-6220 of ASME Section XI, a Form NIS-1, "Owner's Report for lnservice Inspections," an examination summary, and abstracts of examinations performed are provided in this report as Attachment 1. The NIS-2 Forms, "Owner's Reports for Repairs or Replacements," are provided as Attachment 2. Attachment 3 is the Westinghouse Handbook on Flaw Evaluation (WCAP-14874) which was used to evaluate the indications on steam generator "B" weld 2-06.
