CONFIRMATION OF ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE DOCKET NOS. 50-280, 50-281, 50-338, AND 50-339 This confirms the conversation between N. E. Hardwick of your staff, and B. A. Wilson of my staff, on June 6, 1988, concerning an Enforcement Conference to be conducted at the NRG Region II Office on July 6, 1988, at 12:30 p.m.
We requested this meeting to discuss emergency diesel out-of-service issues at North Anna, and an overexposure issue at Surry.
In addition to the circumstance surrounding the overexposure noted in Inspection Report 50-280,281/88-25, your evaluation should also consider problems identified in Inspection Reports Nos.
50-280,281/88-10 and 88-16.
Please plan to discuss your evaluation of the root cause(s) of problems in implementing your radiological control program as well as programmatic improvements that may be appropriate.
