REQUEST FOR A SITE VISIT WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY CONCERNING PREPARATION OF PUMP AND VALVE INSERVICE TESTING ( IST)
SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT - SURRY UNITS 1 AND 2, TAC NOS.:
49144 (UNIT 1), 49145 (UNIT 2)
Review of the Surry Units 1 and 2 IST programs for the remainder of the current 120 month testing intervals (Unit 1:
12/22/82-12/22/92, Unit 2:
5/1/83-5/1/93) was begun in March 1983.
We request a site visit with the licensee in order for us to continue the review and prepare the SER.
Attached is*a list of questions gene-rated during our preliminary review which will serve as an agenda for the meeting.
It is important that personnel who are able to provide both the technical expertise and commitments on the part of the utility attend.
