Thomas, Chief Standardization and Special Projects Branch Division of Licensing REGULATORY EFFECTIVENESS REVIEW REPORT - SURRY, UNITS 1 and 2 From September 19-23, 1983, a Safeguards Regulatory Effectiveness Review (RER) including a Vital Area Validation was conducted at the Surry reactor site. The results of this review are documented in the enclosed RER package submitted by NMSS.
Please review the enclosed documents and send us your comments by February 14, 1984.
Time spent on this review effort should be charged to TAC Nos. 53535 and 53536 under Planned Accomplishment No. 113 (Safeguards).
