This program is for the 120-month inspection period beginning December l, 1982.
We have reviewed your request for relief from the requirements of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (the Code).
Based on our review, we have granted relief from the examination requirements which we have determined to be impractical to perform.
Our Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
We have determined that where stated the Code requirements are impractical, the granting of this relief is authorized by law and will not endanger life or property or the common defense and security, and is otherwise in the public interest considering the burden that could result if they were imposed on your facility.
A copy of the related Notice of Granting of Relief is enclosed.
