He have received a copy of your application dated March 16, 1983, which was filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review.
This application requested relief from ASME XI hydrostatic test for the Surry Power Station Unit No. 1. A Class III fee ($4,000) and a Class I fee ($400) were remitted with your request pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22.
Based on information provided by the ONRR staff as the result of their preliminary review of your request, it has been determined that the Class III fee paid is appropriate for Unit No. 1 since the review will involve con-sideration of a single safety issue. Since your March 16 request applied to Unit No. 1 only, we have authorized the Division of Accounting and Finance to refund the additional $400 paid with your request.
Refunds are generally processed within a two-week period. If the ONRR staffrs final review of your request reveals that this fee is not correct, you will be notified and any necessary adjustments will be madea DISTRIBUTION:
