DPR-32 DPR-37 VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY SURRY POWER STATION CLARIFICATION OF RVLIS AND RCS VENTS STATUS In our letter dated December 28, 1982 (Serial No, 713), we state that the Reactor Vessel Level Indication System (NUREG-0737, Item II. F. 2) has been installed and calibrated.
We also state that the Reactor Coolant System Vents (NUREG-0737, Item II.B.2) have been installed.
For Surry Power Station, the Reactor Vessel Level Indication System has been installed, but not calibrated.
Due to faulty components being recalled by the vendor, however, the system is presently partially disassembled.
The Reactor Coolant System Vents have been installed, but not electrically connected.
System repairs and calibration for the Reactor Vessel Level Indication System and electrical hook-ups and testing for the Reactor Coolant System Vents are scheduled for the upcoming refueling outages in 1983.
The schedule for submitting the Technical Specifications for these systems remains as stated in our letter (Serial No. 713) referenced above.
