50-280 50-281 License Nos. DPR-32 DPR-37 This letter is in response to your letter dated September 23, 1981 re-garding a supplemental information submittal for the Reactor Vessel Level Instrumentation System.

Enclosed are:

One (1) copy of 11Summary Report, ~Jestinghouse Reactor Vessel Level Instrumentation System for Monitoring Inadequate Core Cooling 11 (Microprocessor System), December 1980 (Proprietary).

One (1) copy of 11 Summary Report, Westinghouse Reactor Vessel Level Instrumentation System for Monitoring Inadequate Core Cooling 11 (Microprocessor System), December 1980 (Non-Proprietary).

3.

One (1) copy of response to request for additional information on 11Summary Report, ~1estinghouse Reactor Vessel Level Instrumen-tation System for Monitoring Inadequate Core Cooling 11 Also enclosed is one (1) copy of Application for Withholding CAW-80-76 (Non-Proprietary).

Additional copies of the proprietary and non-proprietary reports were provided by Westinghouse letter NS-TMA-2358, December 23, 1980.

As this submittal contains information proprietary to Westinghouse Elec-tric Corporation, it is supported by an affidavit signed by Westinghouse, the owners of the information.

The affidavit sets forth the basis on

Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the information which is proprietary to Westinghouse be withheld from public disclosure in accor-dance with 10CFR Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations. Corres-pondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of this application for withholding or the supporting Westinghouse affidavit should reference CAW-80-76 and should be addressed to R. A. Wiesemann, Manager, Regulatory and Legislative Affairs, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, P. 0. Box 355, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15230.

Please advise if further information is required.
