Gray File By letter tjated September 14, 1977 we informed you of a limited boron dilution inciden,t involving the contents of a spray additive tank at an operating PWR facility. In light of this you were asked to review potential boron dilution incidents at your Surry Power Station to insure that a similar or other unreviewed method of boron dilution was not more limiting than had been previously analyzed and found acceptable.

Your response of June 1, 1981 indicates that you have reviewed potential boron dilution incidents at your facilities and have determined that you have taken measures (administrative procedures) to preclude the potential for inadvertent dilution incidents. Based on your response no further action regarding this generic issue is necessary.
