0 I This failure was caused by instrument drift in the high alarm setpoint. At no time were the limits of 10CFR20 Appendix B or Technical Specification 3.11.B.8 exceeded.

1. Description of Event:

While performing Perodic Test 26.1 the Air Ejector Radiation Monitor Alarm Setpoint was found to be higher than allowed by Technical Specificatio~

3.7.E Table 3.7.5. This is reportable as per Technical specification 6.6.2.b.(4.

2. Probaole Consequences and Status of Redundant Systems:

The Air Ejectors for Unit two were not in service, therefore, there was no release and the health and safety of the public were not affected.

3. Cause:

The high alarm setpoint was caused by instrument drift in the Radiation Honitor (RM-SV-211).

4. Immediate Corrective Action:

Recalibrated Tuigh Alarm Setpoint.

5. Subsequent Corrective Action:

None required

6. Actions Taken to Prevent Recurrance No further action required. The Periodic Testing program is designed to lo:~::-=.

this type of failure.
