PARTIAL REFUND OF AMENDMENT FEE - SURRY 1 & 2 It is requested that the Controller's office refund to the below indicated 1 icensee the sum of $2,800 which is part of an amendment fee that was sent to your office with a memorandum receipt dated Oc,taber 11, 1979 (copy enclosed).
The fee class has been changed from Code AA903 AMD-3 to AA903 AMD-2.

pertaining to the Surry Power Station Units 1 and 2 secondary water chemistry monitoring, you paid Class III ($4,000) and Class I ($400) amendment fees.
The ONRR review staff has advised this office Lhat the action required by your application is proforma and administrative in nature and, therefore, is in the Class II ($1,200) fee category for Unit 1.
Cons~quently, we have concurrently authorized the Office of the Controller to refund to your Company the $2,800 difference between Classes II and III.
The refund is being processed and will be sent to you as soon as possible.
