'visun.l, liquid penetrant and ultrasonic exnminetions of selected welds in systens identified in reference 1 were performed in.t.~esponse to bulletin item 2.

In all cases, nondestructive exar.dnation personnel were qual ificd in accordance with SNT-TC-lA, Levels I or II, aa appropriate.

The ultrasonic and associated visual crnaninations of full penetration butt-welds were -perforned by Hestinghouse Nuclear Service Division, Inspcct':l.on Service.
