_submitted the modification plan dated May 3, 1979, and ~e discussed the modification with your -staff in a meeting held on May 3, 1979.

The plan consists of adding a 1333 KVA (fan cooled rating) 480V Class lE load center to each of the two trains of the emergency power systems.

In response to our request at the meeting, you submitted a load and voltage analysis, and, integrated test progrilim and relay coordination ~ata on June 18, 1979.

Based on our review of your test re$ults, we have concluded that your proposed modification ensures the capability of the 480V Class lE System to meet its safety functions and is acceptabl~.

The details of our review are provided in the enclosed Safety Evaluation Report;
