. We have reeeRt~ had a meeting, May 3, 1979~ and discussions with your staff regarding the need for inspection of the Surry 2 Reactor

Our concern is the use of high strength marag,e steel included in these structures.

So that we can make further assessment regarding inspection for these supports, it is requested that you provide the information in Enclosure l.
A timely response is requested so that we may complete our review
, while Surry 2 is shutdown for steam generator repair.

of any inspections. Include the threaded connection.
