APRIL 16, 2018, MEETING
SUMMARY
On April 16, 2018, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff held a pre-licensing meeting with staff from the University of Tennessee (UTENN) and Oak Ridge National Laboratories. The purpose of the meeting was to provide an opportunity for these visitors to discuss UTENNs plans for use of special nuclear material. Representatives from the Office of Nuclear Materials Safeguards, Security, and Environmental Review and the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response were present to hear the proposal and provide general advice.
I am attaching the planning notes I prepared for this meeting and the meeting summary for your use. The summary contains no proprietary or classified information.
