He request your assistance in reviewing and oroviding a safety evalua-tion of the mass and energy release data submitted by the 1icensee by early January. 1979.
We believe that the Anaiysis Branch is the appro-priate branch to conduct this review.
The rapid review of these submitta1s is required in order to approve the modifications which are scheduled to be implemented during the next refueling outage currently planned in the early spring, 1979. The completed safety evaluation should be fort1arded to 0. G. Eisenhut~ :-\\cting Assistant Director for Systems and Projects.
