SUMMARY
A phone call was held between NRC and Portland General Electric (PGE) to discuss a draft technical RA! on the Trojan ISFSI license renewal application. The full set of draft RAls were originally provided to PGE on March 28, 2018 and discussed on 4/12/2018. One RA! discussed on 4/12/2018 remained unclear. NRC staff discussed and decided the unclear portion of the RAI was addressed though the other portion of the RA! that requested information on the potential for aging effects. This follow up phone call communicated the decision to remove the unclear portion of the RAI.
PGE indicated they may transmit the RA! responses in two batches. For some that require less effort, they may target a late June submission. They would target submitting by the end of October for the second batch.
