Dear Public Records Officer:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.
I request a copy of the South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company's "2009 Annual Envtronmental and Annual Radiological Environmental Operating Reports" when it becomes available.
In order to help to determine my status to assess fees, you should know that I am a representat;ive of the news media working for the San Antonio Current, and this request is made as part of a news* gatherihg process and not for a commercial use.
I request a waiver of all fees for this request. Disclosure of the requested information to me is in the public interest because it is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the operatiod or activities of nuclear power industry in the state and is not primarily in my commercial interest.
Should a fee waiver not be granted, I request to be notified of the anticipated expenses should ~ey exceed $25 before they are accrued. In the interest of expediency, I further ask that all communication of this request, including acknowledgement of receipt, be made by e-mail.
