Commissioner Docket No. 50-272 & 50-311 -- Reactor Coolant System Chemistry -- License Change Request LCR 95-05 By letter dated September 28, 1995, Public Service Electric &
Gas Company (PSE&G) submitted the subject license change request to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
LCR 95-05 proposes to remove Sections 3/4.4.7 and 3/4.4.8 (Salem Units 1
and 2, respectively) of the Technical Specifications (TS) and relocate the Bases to the Salem Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) and the Surveillance requirements and Limiting Conditions for Operations (LCO) to the applicable Plant Procedures controlled by the 10 CFR 50.59 process.
Additionally, the Applicability would be changed from "At all times" to "Modes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 11
- The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protections Bureau of Nuclear Engineering* (BNE) has reviewed the request in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91(b) and has no comments.
