ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RECEIPT: DRAFT LONG-TERM SURVEILLANCE PLAN FOR THE NATURITA, COLORADO, DISPOSAL SITE
Dear Mr. Linard:
By letter dated February 2, 2018,1 the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) submitted the Draft Long-Term Surveillance Plan for the Naturita, Colorado, Disposal Site (LTSP) to the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff for review. The revision incorporated changes that reflect NRCs concurrence with a request from DOE to terminate groundwater monitoring at the site. The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge receipt of this document. Should there be any questions regarding the contents of the revised LTSP, the NRC staff will contact you via separate correspondence.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRCs ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
