Salem Generating Station, Unit Nos. 1 & 2 Docket Nos. 50-272 & 50-311 Amendment to Facility Operating License License Change Request 94-29 The subject request was submitted to the NRC by PSE&G letter dated September 29, 1994.
The proposed change revises Surveillance Requirement 4.6.2.1 by requiring a Containment Spray System header flow test once every ten years instead of once every five years to confirm that the spray nozzles are unobstructed.
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Energy's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (BNE) has reviewed the request in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.9l(b) and has the following comment.
Attachments 2 & 3 identify pages and sections to be changed but do not contain the actual marked up pages (Ref. Salem LCR 93-28).
