SUBJECT:
RESOLUTION OF GENERIC ISSUE A-30, "ADEQUACY OF SAFETY-RELATED DC POWER SUPPLIES," GENERIC LETTER 91-06, SALEM NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 (TAC NOS. M81489 AND M81490)
On April 29, 1991, the NRC issued Generic Letter (GL) 91-06 containing the staff's resolution of Generic Issue A-30.
The GL contained a number of questions pertaining to the instrumentation, operation, and maintenance of DC power supplies.
The licensee was required to respond to these questions.
If the answer to any questions was "no," then a justification was to be supplied.
Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) submitted an initial response dated October 25, 1991, and a revised response dated October 27, 1992.
The answers submitted by PSE&G in the revised response meet the reporting requirements of GL 91-06.
This completes NRC staff action on TAC Nos. M81489 and M81490.
