SALEM AND HOPE CREEK RESIDENT INSPECTION NOS. 50-272/92-17;
50-311 /92-17; 50-354/92-18
- This letter transmits the findings of an inspection to assure public health and safety,
conducted by Mr. T. Johnson-Senior Resident Inspector and other members of the NRC
resident and regional staff at the Salem and Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Stations for the
penod between October 18, 1992 and November 28, 1992. The findings of this inspection
were previously discussed with Messrs. C. Vondra and J. Hagan of your staff.
Within the scope of this inspection, the inspectors did not find any violations. However, we
documented in the report one non-cited violation which was associated with inadequate
sampling in the Hope Creek norih plant vent radiation monitor. Your prompt and
comprehensive correction actions were noted by our inspectors. No reply to this letter is
